Installer Cyanogenmod Galaxy Ace S5839i Custom
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is the newest arrival in the Galaxy Ace smartphone series. It’s an interesting time in the world where it’s really hard finding a custom recovery that is available to install, but there are already some custom ROMs. So long as you can work out how to install a custom recovery on your Galaxy Ace 4, you will have no problem then flashing these ROM files via that same new recovery. Files you need:
- You need to root the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 before installing some of these custom ROMs on your device.
- Now you need to install a custom recovery on your Galaxy Ace 4. I recommend you to install TWRP custom recovery because this is the fastest and easiest custom recovery to work with.
- You can choose to install the Google apps package that contains all the Google related apps like Google Play Store, YouTube, Gmail and more. You need to download the suitable Google apps package and install it on your phone immediately installing the custom ROM.
- Make sure that you back up all of your important data before installing custom ROM and charge your phone to at least 60% battery.
CyanogenMod 11:
CyanogenMod 11 custom ROM is based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It contains all the stock features you would usually find, plus lots of unique and useful features. CM11 is just like the stock Android OS without any Samsung bloatware, so you can have more free space than before on your Galaxy Ace 4.

CyanogenMod 12.1:
CyanogenMod 12.1 is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with the stock Android interface and features. You’ll find some more useful and powerful features which they (CM team) made them by themselves and added to this very custom ROM.
Features: Android 5.1 Lollipop interface, live display, ambient display, custom LCD density changer, notification manager, lock screen wallpaper, anywhere gestures, show search bar in recents menu, rooted, CM theme engine with lots of downloadable themes in Google Play Store.
AOSP 5.1.1 ROM:
AOSP is the ROM that has nothing but the stock Android OS with all the stock features — nothing else. Android Open Source Project (AOSP) doesn’t have any customization or apps that you don’t want. AOSP ROMs let most of the storage free for you.
Features: Android 5.1 Lollipop based, better storage manager, more free space, RAM management, clean and simple interface, fast and fluid performance, better battery performance, pre rooted with SuperSU.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 Stock ROM:
Stock ROM is the same old custom ROM which came with your phone when you bought it, but this stock ROM is better than the previous one in terms of performance and battery performance. You will also find this stock ROM already rooted so you don’t have to root it anymore.
Features: Based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, pre-rooted with SuperSU 2.79, deodexed, zip aligned, better battery performance and much more.
You won’t find any custom ROM other than those listed here because these were the only custom ROMs available for Samsung Galaxy Ace 4. These were the best custom ROMs for your phone. This is the official CyanogenMod 12.1 custom ROM available for the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace. You will not find many custom ROMs available for this handset just yet, but you do have the official CyanogenMod team creating the CM12.1 custom ROM that is based on Android 5.1.1. Lollipop ready to install on the J1 Ace handset. You will sometimes see unofficial ROMs and official ROMs. An unofficial CyanogenMod ROM means that the ROM is based on the world of CyanogenMod but it’s actually being independently developed. Any ROM that is labeled as an official CyanogenMod custom ROM means the real team from CyanogenMod have created the ROM for you guys.

You can install this pre-rooted firmware ROM on your Galaxy J1 Ace and it will be exactly like your stock ROM but with root access. The ROM is handy if you have tried to root your device with our guide but didn’t have any success. With this ROM installed, you can open the Google Play Store and other third-party sources and start installing your root-requiring apps.
