It real easy to use and picture use in the book are sometime a little funny. At first you’ll be flipping to the notes in the appendix every verse-end for some tiny bit of extra info that should have been printed in-line one really common note could have been done with a tiny icon right there in the entry kanji.

The method of using radicals the seperate components that form the kanji and pictures to help you memorise a kanji can sometimes aid in helping you recognise the Kanji when you see it, however it does not teach you how to draw them, and you may forget the order in which the ksnji go in a certain kanji.
In the end, you’ll find that around half of the notes and references are dead-ends and you’ll start to shake your head whenever you see one, and put your chances at that it’ll be a waste of time looking them up.

Which is additionally unfortunate, as the index of this book has the kanji and their readings only. It’s not completely useless hence two starsbut it’s pretty close. Graphix helps readers by pointing out the easiest methods to memorise the numerous pictt-o-graphix symbols and their designs. The cover is the perfect example to understand. If we can monitor the excelent drawing performance of the author with a book of verbs and a kanji dictionary we would have more advantage. Given that it’s so beginner friendly, I tacked aknji an extra star. So the na letter looks like a knot, nu resembles Rowley’s drawing of noodles held by chopsticks, and it’s easier to remember which symbol means te when you picture a telephone pole.
